256d9d3c-26ee-4f2f-a656-d58631a04c7eWe are partnering with the Canmore Museum to offer a bicycling version of their popular mine tour, led by renowned local storyteller and historian, Gerry Stephenson. Bring your own bike or rent an e-bike provided by Rebound Cycle.

Join us from 10:30am to 2:30pm on September 23 for a guided bike ride through Canmore’s coal mining past. Former head mine engineer Gerry Stephenson will tour guests to No. 1 and No. 2 mines (Canmore’s most productive) and reclaimed former strip mine – Quarry Lake. The tour will shed light on the life of a coal miner, the challenges of coal mining in Canmore, and how Gerry has used up 4 of his 9 lives. Click here for more details.

To reserve your spot please call the museum at (403) 678-2462.
